It is our pleasure to introduce our third guest speaker for “IASH Talks – The Creative Cast” before you, LT. GEN. KAMALJIT SINGH (Retd), PVSM, AVSM**, Former GOC-in-Chief Western Army and Chief Information Commissoner, Haryana.
During his three-decade long career, he has served in several counter-insurgency areas such as Nagaland, Manipur, and Punjab. He has also commanded his own regiment, 63 Cavalry. Along with this, he has also worked closely with UN Peacekeeping forces stationed in Angola and was commended by the then chief and UN Force Commander during his tenure.
Being the Lieutenant General and the Former General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Western Command, our Ambassador of the Shaurya Campaign, has been honoured by the Param Vishisht Seva Medal and Ati Vishisht Seva Medal and bar, by the President of India. Mentioning all this, we must tell you that this is just the trailer to a action packed patriotic movie.
